Description
Olifants River Lodge is a semi-bushveld paradise cradled in a valley situated on the banks of the Great Olifants River 25 km outside of Middelburg and is ideal for guests seeking accommodation with resort facilities and amenities.
This resort offers guests a variety of accommodation options such as campsites, cabanas, log cabins, rondavel units, a chalet, 2-bedroom apartments as well as 3-bedroom apartments. The campsites have electric points as well as access to 4 ablution blocks fitted with showers. All the other units are either furnished with double beds or single beds and have their own bathrooms fitted with either a bath or a shower or both. All linen is provided for these units, however, guests are required to bring their own towels.
Only the 2-bedroom and the 3-bedroom apartments feature a kitchen fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as a central dining table. The other units have a kitchenette equipped with an electric pan. There are certain units that include a TV with selected DStv channels and certain units have a private patio with outdoor seating and a free-standing braai. Access to free Wi-Fi is available in the communal areas.
This resort also offers guests communal amenities and activities such as communal swimming pools, an on-site restaurant, a putt-putt course, water slides, a clubhouse with a bar, a play park for children, cricket pitches as well as rowing on the Olifants River.
