Description

Ons Boshuisie is a private 110 hectares, bush camp situated approximately 28 km outside Swartruggens in the North-West Province. Offering a single self-catering bush cabin, ideal for families or a small group of friends. The private cabin is hidden in a valley at the foot of a hillside, close to what is known as Klein Tafelkop with big rocks, indigenous bush, and trees.

The cabin can accommodate up to 8 guests in 3 bedrooms. The cabin has a shared bathroom fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, the cabin also has a lounge and dining area. Cooking is done on the gas stove, or by the fireside, and the basic needs are fulfilled with the kitchen stocked with the basic eating and cooking utensils. A gas refrigerator and geyser is provided for guests convenience.

The cabin is lit up with lights powered by solar panels, and also works for cell phone chargers. A boma with braai facilities are available outside, and the cabin present a patio as well.

A very good 3G reception signal is available, if needed. The roads are better suitable by high clearance vehicles, but if guests do not have one, alternative transport will be provided, which them to and from the bush lodge.

Long walks, and watching the sunset and sunrise in the heart of the bush, with a good chance of seeing any 1, of the 4 species of antelope and some natural wildlife, is a given. Rock climbing for the adventurous type, as well as mountain bikers, are also welcome.
