The lights of the nearby villages on the R62, the world’s longest wine route, and the Overberg offers a picturesque view during the night.
Accommodation comprises a variety of free-standing, stone cottages. Most of the cottages can accommodate up to 6 guests, with the exception of the Blushingbridge Cottage that can only accommodate 2 guests and the Waboom Cottage that can accommodate up to 10 guests. All cottages have electricity.
Onverwacht Flora is an ideal getaway for nature lovers, weekenders, hikers, and mountain biking or to simply listen to the uproariously singing of the sugar birds. It overlooks the Gobos River with many refreshing rock pools to choose from for having lots of fun. Make time to hike by following the direction starting from the Gobos River or the nearby marked footpath while taking your time to experience the unique floral wealth on the farm. Just maybe, it’s your lucky day and your eye catches a few bucks.
This nature lover’s paradise lies up in the heart of the Riviersonderend Mountains and is also surrounded by mountain peaks of the Langeberge and Galgeberg. Onverwacht Flora is linked to Die Galg and Boesmanskloof Hiking Trail, also known as the McGregor-Greyton Trail.
