The most wonderful hideaway in the middle of mother nature.

We loved the little cottage and were living the dream for two beautiful days. The farm is pristine with sweeping views of the vlei areas, and the cosmos flowers were in full bloom. Not a soul in sight, completely isolated, yet just around the corner, about 2 km, from the town Wakkerstroom. If you can get along with the bare necessities – without electricity and cellphone reception – and know how to operate gas geysers and stoves, chances are you will fall in love with this cottage. The landlord was very accommodating, helped us with the gas, and then left us to enjoy the solitude.
