Description

Situated 40 km from Swellendam, Oorvloed Guesthouse is on a working farm next to the Breërivier and offers comfortably furnished self-catering accommodation for up to 8 people.

The spacious house comprises 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining area, and a lounge. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a toilet. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed, and the other 2 bedrooms each contain 2 single beds. The 3 bedrooms share the use of a bathroom with a bath, a shower, and a toilet. For convenience, linen and bath towels are provided, and guests please need to bring their own swimming towels.

The kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as a kettle. There are indoor braai facilities and guests can bring along their own wood or firewood can be purchased on the farm.

Oorvloed Guesthouse is just 2.5 km from the river for fishing and swimming.

Please note that a gravel road leads to the accommodation. Guests need to enquire regarding the condition of the road before arrival as it is subject to change.

Free WiFi, air-conditioning in the lounge and a plunge pool filled with brown river water is also available.

The farm is approximately 15 km from the Malgas Ferry, De Hoop Nature Reserve, Potberg and Infanta.

There are many attractions in the historic town including the museum, restaurants, pottery shop, berry farms and more. Marloth Park also offers several hiking trails to beautiful waterfalls. There are a few mountain bike routes available in the beautiful area as well.
