Oppi-Plaas offers cosy farm-stay accommodation for family or couples. Only 5km from the R58 between Aliwal North and Lady Grey.(40km from Aliwal North and 22km from Lady Grey. Come and enjoy the quiet and tranquil atmosphere on our Eastern Cape Farm. Experience the activities of daily farming such as sheep and dairy tending. Kick off your shoes and enjoy the peace and quietness of nature or relax on the stoop and watch the sun set over the spectacular Lady Grey mountains.

This fully equipped self-catering house sleeps 6 to 8 guests and children under 2 years of age will be accommodated free of charge. The main bedroom is furnished with 1 double bed and a baby cot, the second and third room has 2 single beds in each as well as cupboards for personal items. Winter linens for beds as well as electric blankets for all beds available. Heating panels in each bedroom and a fireplace in the lounge. There is one bathroom with a toilet, bath, shower over bath and a basin. A second bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet.

The fully equipped kitchen is fitted with a stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge with deepfreeze space, glasses, and crockery. The lounge has plenty of room to socialize with family or to relax and read comfortably. The patio has 4 camping chairs to sit and admire the lovely landscape, or to enjoy delicious food prepared on the covered braai.(braairoom)

Guests have access to covered parking, the premises is guarded by an alarm for peace of mind, there is Escom electricity and cellphone reception. Gravel road on the way to the farm can be reached with cars. Unfortunately we do not allow pets.
The swimming pool is situated in the garden at the main house where the owner stays - about 120m away from the guest"s house and is only available on request and the owner takes no responsibality for guests when using the swimmingpool. No children allowed when not accompanied by their parents or adults.
Nature lovers can walk,do birdwatching and mountain biking on the farm, as well as fishing in our dam(small boat ) .Children of all ages welcome to bring their own bicycles for fun ride on the farmyard. We also provide a small swimmingpool to use for toddlers in the garden infront of the house. Your hosts, David and Estha will try to make your stay at Oppi-Plaas an unforgettable expierence.
Both towns , Aliwal North and Lady Grey offer enough shopping centres for groceries and other needs. Lady Grey is well known for the Lady Grey Passion Play during Easter every year, the Royal Mcnab in July and Sky Run in November. We do not cater, but braaipacks(including 2 salads) as well as light meals (lasagne) can be ordered at an addition cost in advance.
