Ons het lekker gebly.

'n Ruim huis met alle geriewe, veral die skottelgoedwasser is baie gewaardeer. Dit sou goed wees om 'n bietjie batterykrag te hê vir as daar beurtkrag is, veral vir die WiFi.

We enjoyed our stay, space and facilities for all our needs. Just hope we can arrange a longer period next visit.

Peaceful location.

The property is quite remote - something to keep in mind if you have teenagers in the house. They will not be close to the hustle and bustle of Hermanus. But if you are after peace and quiet, this is ideal! Such a beautiful view over the lagoon and the mountains to the back. The kitchen has 2 fridges which came in very handy - one for drinks and one for food. There is also a small swimming pool as you walk down to the lagoon. The water pressure in the showers isn't great but I suspect it has to do with the location. I would suggest to the owners to put a fan in every bedroom and provide washing line pegs. Most of the pots and pans also need replacing but for the rest - we loved it!

Pragtige ruim huis met 'n wonderlike stoep en uitsig oor die rivier. Stil en die swaeltjies op die stoep was 'n bonus. Ons het nie die beloofde flitse gevind nie en wil tog voorstel dat die kombuis 'n paar ekstra items soos 'n eierspaan en 'n paar skerp messe bykry. Verder het ons heerlik gebly, baie dankie.

Natalie was very accommodating, even with last minute requests. Made the stay very comfortable for us.

Heerlike wegbreek saam met vriende.

Ons het die naweek by Lagoon View baie geniet. Die huis is baie goed toegerus, ons het selfs 'n paar sakke hout gekry toe ons gearriveer het. Die huis was skoon en netjies. Pragtige uitsig oor die lagoon. Ek sal 'n paar skerp messe aanbeveel asook 'n ice bucket. Verder was alles 100%. Baie dankie vir 'n heerlike naweek.

Calm and secluded getaway, perfect location a small group birthday celebration!

We adored the view, and we're so grateful for the fireplace and hot water bottles! A lovely touch on the beds. The kitchen was kitted out with everything that we needed and two fridges were ideal as well for plenty of bubbly and beers. The silence is peaceful and secluded enough to play some music and have a little bit of fun. Would definitely visit again! Thank you!

We spent six days at Lagoon View with friends from the UK.

A spacious, well-appointed house with beautiful views out over the lagoon. It's a quiet location away from the busy centre of Hermanus, yet with everything close enough. Natalie is an absolute star, managing our stay in the most friendly and efficient way. Thank you, Natalie.

One of the best places to stay at.

Such a beautiful place, with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. So peaceful and perfect. The pool, the view, everything was just awesome.

Most beautiful views.

Spectacular sunrises and sunsets viewed from a large patio. House has all you need. Safe very small estate on lagoon. Watch all the watersports on the lagoon. Only 10 mins drive into Hermanus or Stanford, location is superb. The only downside was the mattresses on the single beds you could feel the springs so we had to sleep on blankets to make them more comfortable. However we would go back in an instant. Birdlife is excellent.

Moenie adverteer as rolstoelvriendelik nie.

Baie lekker ruim huis. Geen probleem vir normale mense nie. Pragtige uitsig. Lekker kuier huis. Geen ramp vir rolstoel by voordeur. Geen plek om iets neer te sit in eerste badkamer nie. Badkamers het nie reëlings vir mense in rolstoel om hulle self op te trek nie, of te help nie. Rolstoel pas nie in naby toilet nie. Die persoon in die rolstoel was baie ongerieflik met badkamer en ingang by voordeur.

Awesome location, equipped with everything you need, spacious and comfortable.

We went to Lagoon View with my elderly parents and we had a wonderful weekend despite the stormy weather. Would love to visit again in summer when we can take advantage of the lagoon location. The house was well equipped and we were able to celebrate my father's 80th with a small gathering - there was plenty of seating. Thoroughly enjoyable weekend.

We did not want to leave!

We loved this place and are planning our next trip there.

Baie lekker gebly en gekuier by Overberg Gems - Lagoon view. Die area en uitsig vanaf die huis is iets besonders. Die huis se uitleg is lieflik en gee 'n tuis gevoel. Daar was hout en ys met aankoms in die huis. Die rustigheid van die omgewing het ons hele gesin baie goed gedoen. Sal beslis weer wil besoek.

The word "gem" says it all.

Ideal getaway for the whole family!

My family and I loved staying here! We went for long walks, swam in the lagoon and in the sparkling pool! Every evening was spent on the beautiful deck, watching the sun set, followed by the best star gazing experience we have ever had! We loved this house and would recommend it to anyone!

Rustige wegbreek.

Lagoon View is 'n ruim huis met 'n lieflike stoep wat homself na lang, lui kuiers om die etenstafel en in die vars lug leun. Die gesamentlike swembad is 'n wen, naby genoeg aan die huis, maar nie te naby dat dit 'n gevaar vir klein kinders om die huis is nie. Die kombuis is goed toegerus met als wat jy nodig het. Al die kamers het lieflike buitedeure. Mens kan sommer sien dat die eienaars baie lief is vir daardie omgewing. Vir seker die moeite werd!

Beautiful, quiet spot and the accommodation was spacious and comfortable.

The children enjoyed swimming in the lagoon and then the pool, which is so close to the house. We think over Christmas it might get a lot busier and noisier, which would not suit our needs, but over a non-holiday weekend it was peaceful and relaxing.

Thank you to Natalie and Kevin for creating this little haven. I actually do not even want to tell people because I want to keep it a secret haha. It's a beautiful setting with amazing views. The place is clean and has everything you would need for a weekend away. We will definitely be back. Thanks again, it was wonderful.

A blissful few days - loved the location, lagoon views for days.

We spent a long weekend at Lagoon Views - what a blissful few days. Loved the location, lagoon views for days, a warm fire at night, the house is very well kitted out and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Was excellent and could actually relax and just chill.

Will certainly be back and family enjoyed it especially the splash pool near the owners jetty. Will have to come back but will make sure to bring boat with. Quite peaceful and everything you need away from home.

A wonderful venue for a relaxing stay with family.

This weekend was one of the highlights of my mom's life! All five of her adult children were able to gather from corners of the globe and celebrate her 80th in comfort. Lagoon View is a beautiful house and we spent quality time together without getting under one another's feet. We enjoyed the communal pool and surrounds and hope to visit again.

Needs more attention.

Spiderwebs in chandeliers, spiderwebs everywhere, shower upstairs blocked en doen't run properly, carpets dirty especially underneath, linen old and hard, not ironed, washing hangs in the rain 2 days on the line! Most expensive house rent of our trip, looked very promising on the pictures but was not wat we expected!
