Description

Oystercatchers is a self-catering home located in the seaside village of Rooi-Els. This beach holiday house offers stunning views of False Bay and the Kogelberg mountains. Oystercatchers is ideal for a tranquil break away from city life.

This double-storey home overlooks the beach and can accommodate 12 guests, and consists of 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and a guest toilet. The main and second bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, the third bedroom has a bunk bed and 1 double bed, and the fourth and fifth bedrooms each have 2 single beds. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower or bath. The well-equipped kitchen contains a fridge, a microwave, an oven with a stove, and other appliances and utensils to use.

The house boasts 2 living areas; the first is an informal lounge with books and board games, and the second lounge is opposite the dining area and has a wood-burning fireplace. The second lounge leads out to the verandah, which has 2 outdoor tables with seating overlooking the garden. There is also a braai area and an outdoor hot-water shower for guests to use.

The property has private access down to the beach and the river. At the bottom of the private path, just 10 metres down from the garden, is a little cove where you can set up your umbrellas and watch your kids swimming, boogie boarding, fishing and playing beach sports,

When you don't feel like cooking, Rooi Els offers 3 great restaurant options, located a few minutes from the property. The town has a unique biodiversity of birdlife and animal life, including the protected, local baboon troop.
