Description

Palms on Protea is a modern apartment for up to 5 people, in Struisbaai, and is just 650 m from the beach.

Located on the first floor, the spacious apartment can accommodate 6 adults and comprises 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living room.

The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and opens onto the balcony. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds, which can be converted into a king-size bed on request. A double sleeper couch is available in the living room. The rooms share the use of a bathroom with a corner bath, a shower, and a toilet.

The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, an electric oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea-and-coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar. A dishwasher, a washing machine, a tumble-dryer, and an ice machine is also available for guests to use. The kitchen island is equipped with a pull-out extension cord for guests that need to do some work.

Guests can relax in the lounge which has a cosy seating area, a TV with a full selection of DStv channels, and an indoor braai area. Guests, please need to bring their own wood. The apartment uses solar power.

The living room opens onto a balcony with a partial view of the ocean. Fish cleaning facilities under the apartment's stairs, as well as parking for a boat, is available. Parking is provided for 2 vehicles.

We provide 5GB of free data and guests are welcome to buy more data if needed.

A Nova Sport Fisher boat is available as a fishing charter or pleasure boat if the weather allows. Snacks are also available on request, The costs are determined according to guests' needs when booking. Beach fishing trips can also be organised for those who have not brought fishing rods etc. along.

Struisbaai offers various activities such as swimming, fishing, kayaking, surfing and kitesurfing, watching the whales between July to August or exploring the various hiking trails in the area. Guests can also take the short 4 km drive to L'Agulhas to see the Quoin Point Lighthouse, and the Cape Agulhas Lighthouse Museum or take a photo at the Southernmost Point of Afrika where a 3D map has been created.
