House Rules
Take all refuse bags to the town's entry gate when you leave - there is a collection point. Leeupoort has no street refuse service and waste that is left is risky for the animals' sake. If your refuse is not properly disposed of, a fee of R100 will be charged so that the cleaning service can be called in to clean up after you.
All dishes have to be dried and packed away. Don't leave them for the cleaners.
Children must be under parental supervision on the jungle gym. The establishment takes no responsibility for any injuries and the use of the jungle gym is at own risk.
Smoking is prohibited in the unit and guests may only smoke outside where ash trays are provided.
Under no circumstances may fires be left unattended. Please douse the fire with water when you're done with it. Take the ash with you along with your refuse bags when you leave.
Please limit noise pollution - it disturbs the game and other guests.
Don't litter.
When you're not at the unit, please lock and close the windows. Apes and monkeys cause a lot of damage.
The sewerage system is a septic tank which runs to a French drain. Therefore only human waste an toilet paper can be flushed. No items are to be flushed. Ladies need to make use of the bin to dispose of sanitary waste. Please don't pour strong chemicals down the drain as it affects Leeupoort's water table.
The speed limit in the town is 25 km/h. Please keep an eye out for game at all times.
Note the 823 hectare game camp's opening times and keep to that.
The use of drones is strictly forbidden.
No pets, fireworks, firearms or quad bikes are allowed.
Hunting and fishing are not allowed.
Leeupoort is a proclaimed nature reserve - no rocks, plants, wood or animals may be removed.
Please respect the game at all times and don't tease or chase them. Remember that they might look very tame, but they remain wild animals. Please don't risk treating them like tame animals.
The owners of Paulandi reserve the right of entry and
anyone disobeying the unit and town's rules will be required to leave the property.
Paulandi's owners will not be held liable for any injury, loss or damage suffered by any guests on the premises.
