Dit was 'n naweek vir die boeke! Die gasvrou het uitstekende diens gebied.

Beautiful and peaceful!

We had a wonderful stay at Pelican House. The view and all-round beauty are just awesome. If we could bottle up Grotto Bay's serenity, everywhere we go, it would be pure bliss. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We loved the beach being so near the home, as well as the splash pool for my little one, who just couldn't get enough of the water.

Perfect getaway.

Thank you so much for a beautiful stay. My kids definitely took full advantage of the beautiful clean pool, and the rooms were all so comfortable. I loved the decor, art, and beautiful garden. The jacuzzi was definitely a nice surprise. The kitchen had everything you need. As a private family, we appreciated the peacefulness. The online pics do not do the accommodation any justice. PS: Make sure to bring enough water, drinks, and food since the nearest shop is 17 km away.

Our stay was very relaxing, peaceful and therapeutic. Such a beautiful view of the sea from the house, and the kids enjoyed themselves in the pool. We didn't want to leave. Will definitely be booking again in the future, and I've had so many enquiries already about the house.

Fantastic stay, 3 full weeks and we loved it. Wonderful location and quiet peaceful estate. Beautiful sunsets. Kitchen needs some maintenance (a dishwasher would be helpful) and the house needs a deep clean. Staff at the house not super eager to help or go the extra mile. We will definitely return. Aircon or ceiling fans are needed, especially in the upstairs loft.

The best place for a group of young couples for a getaway. It is a nice and quiet area, the safest if I may say.

Rustig en ontspannend.

Heerlike atmosfeer ten spyte van gure weersomstandighede. Ons het lekker gebly en alles wat ons nodig gehad het, was beskikbaar. Die afstand vanaf die naaste winkel is seker die enigste probleem. Moes gery het tot Melkbosstrand, maar dit is moontlik 'n probleem en voordeel op dieselfde tyd!

Beautifully appointed house.

Everything was lovely and we had a great stay. The house had everything that we needed. Big shout out for the fact that cutlery, glassware and crockery were spotless.

Ongelooflik.

Pelican House is so 'n lieflike plek. Als was soos dit gewys word op foto's. Die uitsig is was die beste. Sal definitief weer terugkeer. Hulle kan dalk 'n meer gemaklike sitkamerstel kry, maar anders was als perfek.

Kuier by Grotto was stil, rustig en privaat, net wat ons nodig gehad het.

Pragtige en rustige plek met 'n baie mooi sonsondergang. Alles was presies en netjies. Net 'n aanbeveling is dat die foto met die hout vir buitebraai update word aangesien ons onder indruk was dat daar hout beskikbaar was en dat geiser vooraf aangesit was. Ons het eers die volgende dag uitgevind hoekom die stort so koud was. Maar ons het dit verskriklik baie geniet.

It was awesome. Everything was exactly the way it was shown in the pictures. Will definitely book again.

The nature reserve was beautiful and peaceful. Lovely surroundings. The house is built on a perfect location with direct view of the spectacular sunset, wildlife at your door step and nature at its best. Would definitely recommend Pelican House.

Beste vakansie ooit met famile, alles was perfek, natuur-fantasie, met pragtige plante by huis asook in die natuurreservaat. Huis 100% familie vriendelik.

Rustigheid, see uitsig, pragtige tuin, beeldskone see, swembad baie nice, met braaigeriewe met groot ope area in huis. Veiligheid tops. Was beslis elke rand werd.

Fantastic ocean views in secure estate.

We had a great stay at Pelican House. Conveniently located between Melkbos and Yzerfontein. Enough room for everyone, fantastic braai area with pool and large patio.

Amazing.

We absolutely loved our stay. The children were safe and had so much fun, it's a lovely house to relax and have fun knowing the children are safe in the front and the backyard. The house was well equipped and Mary was very accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Heerlike rustige naweek.

Ons het 'n heerlike naweek gehad by Pelican house. Alles wat ons nodig gehad het was daar. Die uitsig is pragtig en die kaggel was heerlik in die koue.

We had a really awesome stay. Grotto Bay is a such a beautiful place.

The accommodation was lovely. Stunning sea views. Good value for money.

Pelican house was amazing I'm so glad that I booked that place. To start your new year in a beautiful house like that amazing views everything was perfect. I'm not one to revisit a place but pelican house I'm definitely visiting again and my stay would be longer. Another highlight, the sunsets is gorgeous walk on the beach after 6, so relaxing. I highly recommend Pelican House.

Heerlike kuierhuis!

Dis 'n heerlike stoep vir kuier in enige weersomstandighede. Fantasties vir kinders met die muur en hekke wat toemaak. Let net op dat daar ’n byenes aan die kant van die huis is. Gelukkig was niemand allergies nie, maar dit was baie ongemaklik met kinders wat op die bye trap en 2 wat gesteek was. Verwyder die nes. Die huis is nie geskik vir persone wat allergies is nie, Grotto Bay is nie naby hospitale nie.

The perfect accommodation except for the two problems.

The accommodation was picture perfect. The only downfall is that I booked the accommodation for my daughter and 5 of her friends as a 21st getaway gift. They were so excited to use the hot water pool due to the cold weather, just to be disappointed because the pool never heated up. They also experienced problems with the tripping of the plugs.

Amazing house in a safe environment.

Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm & welcoming smile into a spotless clean home with comfy beds, fresh linen and soft towels. Everything we needed was available plus more. Sitting on the patio was peaceful and relaxing where all you could hear were the birds chirping in the trees and waves in the background. Lovely enclosed and well maintained garden. Beach is just a short walk from the house.
