Perlemoen - The Main House and Adjoining Cottage, is situated in the tranquil town of Onrus, only 5 km away from Hermanus.
The accommodation consists of two units: the main house and the cottage.
The main house comfortably sleeps 6 adults and 2 children. It offers 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed and 2 more bedrooms, each furnished with 2 single beds.
The kitchen is well-equipped with a stove, fridge-freezer, microwave, oven, crockery, cutlery, dishwasher, and washer and dryer combo. The living area includes a dining area and a lounge with a television. Wi-Fi access is available, and DStv can be requested for an additional fee per day.
The cottage accommodates another 6 adults and 2 children. It has 1 bedroom with a double bed downstairs and 2 more bedrooms upstairs, each furnished with 2 single beds. There is a bathroom with a shower upstairs and two bathrooms downstairs, one with a shower and one with a bath. The cottage also features a kitchen, lounge, and dining room. Sliding doors from the braai room and cottage lead to an entertainment area with a spacious patio under the roof and 2 additional braais. Additionally, there is a loft-style bedroom with 2 child-only beds, ideal for children.
For smaller groups, only the main house will be accessible, and the cottage will remain closed. The property accommodates only 1 group at a time.
The entire property is enclosed by a wall, providing safety and privacy. There is a single garage with remote control and safe off-street parking for two more vehicles behind a gate.
Perlemoen offers direct access to several hiking, biking, and bird-watching trails right from the property. The Vermont-Onrus-Sandbaai footpath along the coast offers breathtaking views. Onrus is renowned for its beautiful beach, and the freshwater beach lake provides a safe swimming environment for children. Guests can also enjoy swimming, snorkelling, and lobster fishing during the appropriate season at the Harder Bay Marine Reserve and Davis Pool.
