Description
Petlyn Eco-Cottage is set on a secure, fully fenced acre land for your pet-friendly stay, a complete off-the-grid unit, ideally situated overlooking the Bo-Langvlei Lake which is a Ramsar bird sanctuary. This property solely makes use of solar, gas, and fire as an energy source, with harvesting rainwater as a water source. The toilet is an ecosan loo, which is a completely closed waterless system.
This unit is located on the owner's smallholding, and it is separated on its own acre that is totally fenced off from their living area. Ideally sleeping 2 guests comfortably, comprising 1 bedroom. The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed. It makes use of a bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and waterless composting toilet, and features an outdoor bath. Linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with a camping fridge, gas stove and oven, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The lounge has a comfortable single daybed with various books.
The unit has a lovely patio with outdoor furniture, overlooking the greenery. Guests have access to a weber braai. The cottage is on a part of the small holding which is used for lifestyle as well as some self-sustainable farming.
