PiliPili Beach Cabanas is situated on the beachfront in the coastal town of Sedgefield, where guests can explore up to 30 km of unspoilt beaches, the pristine estuary, or the town of Sedgefield. The town of Sedgefield is situated midway between Knysna and George.

Comfortable accommodation is offered in 2 family rooms, 3 double rooms, 2 honeymoon rooms, and 3 dormitory rooms. The en-suite cabanas are available as family rooms for up to 4 guests or as double and twin rooms. They are decorated in keeping with the ‘barefoot sophistication’ motto, and all the rooms open up onto a wraparound balcony from where guests can enjoy views of the beach, ocean and natural fynbos. Staying in a dormitory room is an ideal option to meet other travellers; it is also possible to book out the room for a group of friends if booked earlier enough.

Breakfast, which is included, lunch, dinner, coffee and cocktails are available from the PiliPili Beach Restaurant downstairs. The restaurant offers fine, unpretentious food in a relaxed atmosphere. The pizzas are freshly prepared with a choice of either thin base or wood fired. The ribs are a popular choice, as is the seafood.

The Garden Route offers a variety of activities and attractions, and guests can enjoy day trips to various locations. Activities in the surrounding area include stand-up paddling, kite-surfing, paragliding, hiking, canoeing, bungee jumping, mountain biking, horse riding, scuba diving and snorkelling, shark-cage diving, whale-watching, and wine tasting.
