Alhoewel die strande nie so naby is nie is die swembad 'n groot pluspunt by die oord. Baie lekker en stil area, naby winkelsentrums.

Pleasant Waters kan miskien net let om moontlik relings by die trappe op te sit. My ouers is beide bejaard en loop moeilik by die trappe. Daar is net die een stel van so 2 of 3 trappe na die groot chalet, maar 'n reling sal handig wees. Beide storte in die groot chalet is ook bietjie moeilik vir bejaardes om in en uit te klim omdat daar trappies na die storte is.

Bietjie teleurgesteld.

Ons het besluit om 2 dae vroeër terug te kom. Met aankoms was die breekware so vuil ons moes alles eers was voor ons dit kon gebruik, die eier het nog op die borde gesit. Op kersdag het 'n bussie vol mense opgedaag as kuiergaste vir een van die paartjies wat ingeboek was as dagbesoekers. Hulle het gedrink tot na 12 die aand, ons kon omtrent nie slaap van die geraas nie. Niemand het hul stil gemaak nie. Daar was ook 'n groot groep werkende mense wat hulle wasgoed en onderklere oral op die bankies en stoele opgehang het, wat dit so ongemaklik gemaak het om daar te sit, hulle het elke aand erg gedrink en hulle musiek kliphard gespeel. Ek sal nie weer na hulle toe gaan nie en ook nie aanbeveel nie. Ons het juis op hulle besluit omrede hul reëls streng was, maar dit was slegs op papier. Ons het ontuis gevoel en besluit om eerder te ry en ander verblyf te soek.

I am truly sorry to learn of your disappointment.
Unfortunately in all my marketing, I promote my establishment as " BUDGET ACCOMMODATION IDEAL FOR GROUPS OR BUSINESS WITH WORK COMMITMENTS IN SOUTH DURBAN". 90% of my business are persons working in the area or those that have stayed while working and choose to come down for a break.
Unfortunately, it was festive season and a certain amount of drinking will happen on occasion. It is very difficult to control and can be a sensitive area to manage. My business is in a residential area and none of my neighbours nor other guests complained.
With regards to dirty cutlery, I will address this with my staff. That is totally unacceptable.
My business is mostly fully booked so I must be doing something right. This is one of a few really negative feedback I have ever received!
I do also appreciate you had a problem from the outset....where you queried the accommodation provided. I referred you to the website which you had used to initiate the booking; with pictures and copy that is truly reflective of the accommodation, you booked.
I will be relooking at my marketing to ensure there is no misunderstanding regarding the focus of my business and selectively remove/ change my listing accordingly.
I am happy to reimburse you for 2 nights as the rooms we rebooked to a shipping company who had commitments on a vessel that arrived.
