I was very disappointed in the unit, the photos are the same but it looks like the place has not been properly cleaned in years.

We had a great stay, thanks to our lovely host Pim.

The host (Pim) was friendly, accommodative and welcoming. He also guided us by recommending attractions around Cape Town since we had never been to Cape Town before. The area is quite, peaceful and close to all major amenities such as shopping complex, mall and a bus station. The beach is a walking distance away. This place is very basic, I would not rate it as self catering unit. It has a very small 2 plate stove and oven combo and a microwave. There is not a Kitchen sink and dishes must be washed in the bathroom, or water must be carried in a plastic bowl to do dishes, So the only option to eat was to order food in. The room had only blinds and has no curtains. so not good for people with light sensitivity. The small gate to come in and out is almost impossible to open and close and was a daily struggle. I am an animal lover so did not mind the dogs but it will not suit people that don't like animals. The room was nice with a great lay out and very comfy bed.
