Description

Located in the beautiful Overberg in the shadow of the Riviersonderend mountains, Plumtree Farm offers guests a relaxing getaway on a working farm on the banks of the Sonderend river, just 2 km from the N2.

Used merely for the cultivation of oats, the farm offers guests self-catering units in the 150-year old farmstead. The units can accommodate between 2 to 3 people, and are furnished with queen-size beds, double beds, or single beds. Each unit has an en-suite bathroom and is fitted with a bath, or shower, and a toilet.

Each of the units has a private kitchen that is equipped with a microwave, a fridge, tea- and coffee-making facilities, as well as a dining area, and some of the units also have a stove or an oven.

The units all have private entrances and open onto a patio where guests can relax. A communal swimming pool and braai facilities are available in the courtyard, and meals can be arranged on request at an additional cost.

Guests can enjoy fishing in the river, and the surrounding area is ideal for cycle and motorcycle enthusiasts. Riviersonderend is 5 km away and offers a general store and shops, various restaurants and cafes, and a liquor store.
