Rachel's Self-catering Accommodation

Heaven on earth.

Hi, it was the best stay ever and it was safe. My kids and the other kids were happy, and we will most definitely recommend this accommodation.

Relaxing.

Our stay was lovely. Very accommodating for big families, and the pool is there for the kids. There is also a laundry room with enclosed garage parking, and it is fully secure. Neat and spacious. This is one of the few places where we felt at home without our pockets being broken.

Rachel's. A wonderful place to be.

Ons as familie en vriende wil net baie dankie sê ons het ons kuiertjie terdeë geniet. Ons sal definitief hierdie plekkie aanbeveel en selfs meer dae boek. Huis geleë in 'n baie rustige area. Vriendelike groete.

We had a pleasant stay at Rachel's. The location was ideal.

The only shortfall is that the hot water did not work in all the bathrooms. Most of the time there was no hot water. The place needs a good fumigation as there was quite a lot of spiders in the house. Some of the cupboard doors needs to be fixed.

Die huis is nie geskik om uit te verhuur nie.

Ons het 10 nagte geboek oor Desember en Januarie en net 2 nagte gebly noodgedwonge oor die Kerstyd omdat ander verblyf nie besikbaar was nie. Hierdie huis is nie geskik vir verhuuring nie, en glad nie op de webtuiste se standaarde nie. Die huis was vuil (vuil koffiekoppies in kombuis kas, laaie vol ou koekies en verskriklik vuil, verskriklike vrot reuk, gebreukte krane, badkamer kouekraan is helemal weg, gebreukte beddens ens.) Heeltemal te veel probleme om op te noem. Ons kon gelukkig ander verblyf kry, en van ons geld terug kry by die webtuiste. Hierdie was 'n baie groot teleurstelling, en glad nie waaraan ons gewoond is as ons boek op die webtuiste nie (ons boek gemiddeld 5 vakansies per jaar op die webtuiste).

Very disappointed!

The house was very dirty, bedding off-colour and smelled so bad we had to go buy our own bedding and pillows. Kitchen in poor, smelly state. Our bedroom ceiling had holes and it leaked rain water on the beds. Non-compliant electrical work, loose, exposed wiring. The kitchen taps completely loose. Bedroom cupboard doors missing. The place overall is in a pathetic condition. We even had to go buy cleaning and sanitizing detergents, so we actually left the place cleaner than what we got it. Pics are deceiving! They should take close-up pics of everything so people can see the filth. I hope they redo the whole thing.

Well received, cutlery and crockery need to filled up on.

Nice big house, clean and tidy pool was also clean. Jacuzzi as advertised is a jet bath though, and not a jacuzzi. Would recommend this house.
