Rietvley Cottage is situated in the Koue Bokkeveld near Op-Die-Berg and offers farm-style accommodation. It is ideally suited for a couple or small family looking to break away to this beautiful area. The cottage is close enough to Cape Town for a weekend break, and guests can even build a snowman on the lawn or in higher-lying areas in winter. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.

The cottage has 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed and a loft room with 2 single beds. Top quality bedding and towels are provided. Guests are required to bring their own swimming towels. The cottage has underfloor heating and a coal stove for the cold winters. There's also a dishwasher, microwave, and a Nespresso coffee machine.

In the summer, guests can relax next to the pool with a braai or on the shady patio. A visit to this working farm in the Koue Bokkeveld will spoil guests with unparalleled scenery, wide open spaces, easily accessible rock paintings and rock formations.

It is close enough to Cape Town for an ideal weekend getaway and you can even build a snowman in the winter.

It is a paradise for hikers and cyclists with many hiking and mountain bike trails in the area. Experience the Karoo in all its beauty and peacefulness with a bright, starry sky at night.

The site can currently only be reached with high ground clearance due to the high water levels on the farm road.
