Comfortable and convenient.

We enjoyed the room and thought it was value for money. The pool was wonderful with a great view. The location was peaceful and beautiful.

I thought the service was quite slow and not as friendly as I expected. We did not enjoy the food that much and were surprised as you are not allowed to bring your own food or drink on site. The options we wanted wasn't available. They took ages to serve us, bring the drinks and bring what we ordered at dinner time, and then we found everything tasted overly sweet. We had the Moroccan salad, pork chops and curry. Thanks for considering our feedback.

You were obviously expecting a self-catering establishment and/or fast food, not a relaxed country lodge hotel with an easy-going atmosphere. You stayed one night in one of our budget rooms. I think Rissington is fairly clear about what it offers and other reviewers on all sites seem satisfied and impressed, with the quality of our meals generally being a high point. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
