Little gem on the river.

Our stay was far too short, I will definitely go back and stay for longer. Very stylishly decorated, gorgeous clean white linen, and kitchen equipped for all cooking requirements. There are a few trees blocking the view from the river but we realized this will help shelter the verandas on windy days. Thank you to the host who communicated via WhatsApp and was extremely friendly and helpful.

A lovely, serene breakaway!

We had an awesome stay at River Kaya Accommodation and loved the solitude that it offered. The scenery is amazing. The cottage is well equipped and beautifully furnished. I did miss a washing machine as we had an extended stay, but I was able to use the local laundromat for that. Our hosts were amazing and available at short notice if we had any queries to sort out. They also offered valuable insight into the area - where to shop, what to do, and more. A place with a lot of potential, but the serenity and solitude is what recharged our batteries the most!

A beautiful setting , peaceful and relaxing.

We think there should be utensils to use on the fire, eg a dish or similar for cooking outside. Loved the quiet but also feel just too far from getting to the river for fishing, specially at night. So for the visitors looking for a peaceful weekend away this is perfect.

Peaceful, beautiful setting, lovely, comfortable accommodation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The beauty of the location entranced us. It was very quiet and no artificial light outside at night. Loved the accommodation. Maybe one complaint only. Divine swims in the river, pity one could not take it home.

Fantastic!

The owners came around every day to hear if all was in order and gave us free facilities to use like the canoe and boathouse and extra freezing space. We would definitely return to River Kaya in future.
