The River View Cottages overlook a sweeping bend in the Gamka River. The cottages are situated in the Matjiesvlei valley, on The River Farm near Calitzdorp, in the heart of a World Biodiversity Hotspot in the Little Karoo.
Accommodation is offered in 3 self-catering cottages. Each cottage is ideal for a single guest or a couple, and is self-contained. Each cottage contains a private bathroom, a kitchenette, living and dining area, a fireplace, and a private stoep with lovely views.
Guests can enjoy walking among the Karoo Koppies, swimming and fishing in the river, viewing the wildlife of The River Farm, or simply relaxing and enjoying the view of the river and the expansive Swartberg Mountain Range from the comfort of your cottage. At the end of the day, watch the sunset and the stars appear as you enjoy a braai in the boma.
