Description

Riverbend Country Home is a self-catering farmhouse located in the picturesque countryside of Byrne Valley; situated approximately 7 km from central Richmond in the Midlands area of KwaZulu-Natal. The house can accommodate a large family or group of 16 persons.

This spacious and furnished house comprises 4 bedrooms downstairs and 3 bathrooms then upstairs is a loft with approx 8 beds in a dorm setup. The main bedroom is equipped with a king-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom; the second room also has two single beds and a cot, the third room has a queen bed - the fourth room has a queen bed and is off the dining area and has an en-suite bathroom as well.

The fully equipped kitchen contains the necessary appliances to cook meals, the stove top is gas and the oven is eletric including a scullery with a dishwasher and a dining area to seat a large group. There is a fridge in the bar area, a fridge and deep freeze in the kitchen and a deepfreeze in the scullery.

The spacious lounge has couches and a wood-burning fireplace. The living area leads out to an entertainment area, with a beautiful braai area and couches to relax on under cover - so regardless of the weather there is space - off the entertainment area there is an amazing outdoor firepit to make bonfires. Wood can be bought on site or you can bring your own.

Ample parking is available for vehicles in front of the house. Riverbend Country Home is situated on a working farm, with Pecan Nut trees - in a valley amidst other sugarcane and forestry farms.
