Description
Riverridge Lifestyle Farm offers a delightful farm stay on the banks of the Goukou River, just 15 km from Still Bay. The farm offers tranquillity, numerous river activities like water skiing, rowing etc. We have chickens, sheep and the banks of the Goukou is a haven for bird watchers. This is an ideal setting for those who value the beauty of nature.
Comfortable accommodation is offered in the Cottage that sleeps 6 guests in 2 rooms and the Chalet that also sleeps 6 in 2 rooms. Both offer only shower facilities.
The Chalet comprises 2 bedrooms right at the river`s edge. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed while the second bedroom has a bunk bed and 2 single bed. The bathroom is fitted with a shower only. There is a lounge, dining area and a kitchenette equipped with a fridge and a microwave. The Chalet features a deck with outdoor furniture and lovely views of the river right below. There is a 5th bed in the living area.
The Cottage comprises 2 bedrooms, a bathroom fitted with a shower, a kitchenette, and a lounge. The first bedroom offers a king-size bed and the second bedroom contains 4 single beds. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, and a 2-plate gas stove. The Cottage features a deck with lovely valley views towards the river.
Tiny House @ Riverridge is a cosy getaway suited for 2 adults and 1 child under 12. The unit comprises a bedroom with a double bed and a single sleeper couch for a child. The bathroom is fitted a shower a dry composting toilet. The kitchen has a kettle, toaster and gas stove top. Guests have access to their own braai and picnic area and a hot fire tub.
The farm is off the grid and totally on solar. Guests need to understand there may be situations that the power use will have to be taken into consideration.
Guests of all ages are welcome at the farm, as well as pets by prior arrangement, and provided they are not a threat to the farm animals. There are activities to be enjoyed on the farm, such as water sports on the river, running, mountain biking, hiking, and bird watching. Guests are in the excellent housekeeping hands of Shadrak the farm and accommodation right hand.
