No power boats may be launched from the property. The river is part of the Knysna Lagoon National Park and power boats may not be used in the section of the river that the house is on. Sailboats and canoes are permitted.
Water should be used sparingly as it is supplied from a rain water collection system.
No smoking is allowed in the house.
The house is about 30m from the edge of the river and there is no fencing around the house, so parents with children that cannot swim will need to keep an eye on them.
There is no public transport available near the house. A car is essential, but it is possible to get into town relatively easily on bicycles.
Richard, the house manager, will be available by phone should there be any issues.
