Kort op gradering.

Glad nie soos op fotos nie, alhoewel dit skoon was maar kort baie aandag. Moet ekstra betaal vir parkering en kan glad nie daar rondloop nie, dit is te gevaarlik.

Onplesierig.

Ongelukkig was die hotel nie soos beskryf nie. Geen restaurant of kroeg nie, geen geriewe in die kamer soos 'n ketel of yskas nie. Geen opsie vir koffie die volgende oggend nie. Buite die hotel was dit baie vuil met swart sakke vullis wat rondgestrooi was en die papier het oral rond gewaai, dit was nie baie aangenaam nie.

Our stay wasn't great because we stayed awake the whole night due to lots of cockroaches in the room. The room also had a smell. Cockroaches roamed the place the whole night, so we had to keep the lights on but that didn't even help.

Not pleasant.

The lift was not working and the aircon was also not working. I was travelling with an elder and she was forced to use the stairs. The heat was unbearable especially at night.

Horrible.

It was the most horrible stay I have ever experienced. There is no parking for your car, The parking that is next to the hotel charges R80 per night. There is a deposit fee of R50 to get the room's keys. The rooms were invaded with cockroaches crawling everywhere. Naked women ran up and down the stairs. Smoking of a Hoka pipe was happening on the 4th floor in front of my kids. No Wi-Fi in the rooms. Lifts do not work! A party was happening or braai on the 4th floor and we could not get any rest. Please delete this hotel from your website! I booked several stays on the website for my December vacation and am now so scared to use the website again.

Riviera Hotel is the best place to be. Their staff members are the best. Can't wait to book with them again.

Hotel was baie goed geleë om gaste op City Bug te sit die volgende oggend. Lawaai dwarsdeur die nag was uiters onaangenaam.

Ons was vertel deur ontvangs om nie na 8 nm buite te wees nie. Daar is geen eetsaal in hotel nie, geen koffie in kamers nie. Mens kon wel wegneemetes bestel of vanuit kiosk onder hotel kos koop. Die motorhawe onder die hotel het ook in vroeë oggendure (2:30 se kant) raserige masjienerie aangeskakel (moontlik pap bande om te ruil?). Hotelgaste het deur die nag baie lawaai en in gange rondgeloop met aaklige musiek wat baie luid gespeel het, 3 vm se kant. Daar was ook aanhoudend 'n geskreeuery van 'n man en vrou wat baklei en ander wat met mekaar gesels asof hul in oop vlaktes was. Die uitsig oor die hawe het ook eers in die aand na vore gekom toe die ligte brand. Ons het nooit aan die slaap geraak om te voel of die bed gemaklik slaap nie, maar ons kamers was mooi skoon, ongelukkig geen koffiemaakfasiliteite nie. Vir pensionarisgaste wat vanaf die platteland gekom het was dit nie die Durban wat ons in ons jonger dae so baie besoek het nie. Julle ander aanbevelings wat ek al wel besoek het deur ons land was baie goed. Die een nie.

Glad nie beïndruk nie.

Die foto's wat jy sien met bespreking en wat jy kry as jy daar is, is glad nie dieselfde nie, ons was op die punt om onsself by 'n beter plek te gaan inboek. Het nie baie veilig gevoel nie, die plek lyk of dit uitmekaar val!

Not what's promised.

So when booking, it seems great! Was supposed to receive a harbour facing room. Never happened! Think it was a makeshift room. Secure parking yes, but you pay separately which was never mentioned at booking stage.

It was great.

Nice place to visit but we had some issues with the parking area because we were told that the parking is available for nights only with a fee but during the day we were not allowed to park.

I was comfortable in the hotel.

It is a good place especially their prices, you can even make more entertainment outside the hotel.

Excellent, quiet and peaceful.

I love it, best choice, no regrets, unfortunately I'm exploring so I don't stay at one place.

Die moeite werd. Was beïndruk.

Nie in goeie area nie veilig buite saans, maar Fresh Stop 24-diens langs hotel goeie kos. Hotel self onberispelik skoon netjies. Linne ruik lekker. Kamer gerieflik. Bestuurder jong dame, absoluut fantasies, het vir ons gereël na inkopiesentrum. Lughawevervoer gebel sy idee fantasies, gaan uit haar plek om van hulp te wees. Beslis waarde vir geld.

Poor communication between the employees.

Expensive rooms for old stuff TV only played 2 channels, no bar fridge, no aircon. It's in the awkward place there was a smelly water outside the hotel.

Location, service, room was not what I expected or saw on internet.

We were not been offered WiFi pin code. In fact it was not even mentioned. We had to ask if we can be offered iron, it was only then that we told about the iron room. Bed linen wasn't clean. I was expecting the room to have bar fridge, kettle, coffee mugs. But that wasn't the case. I mean these are standard electrical appliances.

Overnight stay before travelling back home.

Carpets and bed linen were dirty. Sub standard air-con system and very old lift.

It was warm and welcoming – The room was clean and neat, except there are no fridges in the rooms.

It would be nice if there are mini-fridges in the rooms – we had to buy drinks from outside every time and also there was no water jug only glasses. Otherwise, the hotel is nice and clean, the staff is very friendly and welcoming, also willing to assist and advise. I will definitely be coming back next year.
