Robin’s Nest lies at the foot of the Onrus Mountains and at the entrance of the Hemel and Aarde valley in the picturesque, tranquil, secure and private Glenfruin Meadows Country Estate.

Accommodation comprises 4 fully equipped self-catering units with beautiful mountains views. All units have an en-suite bathroom with a shower and kitchenette. Amenities include a TV with selected DStv channels, heater and fan. Guests also have free access to 300Mb of Wi-Fi on a daily basis.

Outside, there are communal braai facilities in the garden as well as secure parking. The area is a bird watcher’s paradise. The Onrus river runs through the Estate and you can take a nice walk down to the river.

Robin’s Nest is within walking distance from the Hemel en Aarde Village and the Hermanuspietersfontein and Whalehaven Wine cellars. You can enjoy the food market at Hermanuspietersfontein wine Cellar on Saturdays. As Robin’s Nest is situated at the beginning of the Hemel-and-Aarde wine route which includes the renowned Cellars of Bouchard Finlayson, Sumaridge, Newton Johnston, Creations and many more.

It is approximately 3.5 km from Onrus beach and the tidal pool at Vermont, 2 km from Sandbaai and 8 km from the famous Grotto and Voëlklip beaches. Hermanus is 3 km away, an easy distance for whale watching in season.
