Description
Rooibank is situated in the Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve in South Africa’s Gauteng Province. Rooibank is a working farm with a choice range of guest accommodation.
There is the luxury four-bedroom Eden’s Den which is built from the stone found on the farm, this rondawel-styled, double-story house is equipped with state-of-the-art fittings. All sleeping quarters and bathrooms are upstairs. Downstairs, the kitchen is fully fitted to cater for 8 guests, although its capacity can be scaled upon request.
Bushveld House comprises 4 bedrooms equipped with a double bed each and 2 bathrooms fitted with a shower. Other facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, dining room, and a large sitting room. This unit has a large covered patio outside with braai facilities and undercover parking.
There are also 3 chalets on the farm. Each chalet has a self-catering kitchen with a dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped and has all the needed utensils. Each unit has a TV with selected DStv channels and is air-conditioned. The chalets are all 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom. Each unit has a private patio with a table, chairs, and a braai.
Guests must take into account that their stay is self-catering and that they may share the swimming pool and outside toilet amenities with other guests. Industrial generators are in place so this accommodation is not affected by load shedding.
