Description
Roos Kothuis aan't See is located in the coastal town of Vermont, Overberg and is the ideal place for a peaceful getaway. It is only 300 m from the sea and sea path and has a beautiful view of the sea at the front and the mountain at the back. The house lies against a green strip and is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac that guarantees a peaceful getaway.
This double-storey cottage features a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, private braai area, Wi-Fi and alarm system.
The downstairs floor comprises 3 double bedrooms of which 1 bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. This bedroom has a view of the olive trees and the backyard.
The other bedroom has 2 single beds and has a view of the front garden. The third bedroom has limited space and a double bed with a view of the braai area and the mountains. There is also a separate bathroom with a bath. Linen and towels are provided.
The downstairs living area has an open-plan layout and the kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, stove, oven, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and a breakfast nook. The lounge has comfortable couches and chairs. The dining area has a dining table with seating for 8 guests.
The fourth bedroom is on the top floor, it has a beautiful sea view and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The living area on the top floor has a cosy TV corner, and a pyjama-seating area that leads to a balcony with comfortable seating. The balcony boasts beautiful views of the green belt, Vermont Mountain and the ocean. To make coffee time easy, there is also a coffee and tea station in the upper living area. A Nespresso machine and immersion coffee pot are provided.
There is a private braai area behind the house with a dining table for 8. For entertainment, there are various board games, colouring books for children, as well as paint and brushes. For the beach, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas and baskets are provided.
Various restaurants, wine farms and markets can be visited in the area. There are also a large number of hiking and mountain biking trails in the area.
The Breakfast Bay beach is also close to home.
The hiking trail along the sea is close by and it runs past the Jan Rabie tidal pool and the Davies tidal pool to Onrus beach.
Please note that Roos Kothuis is not suitable for parties and functions, but it is perfect for a peaceful getaway and family vacations.
