House Rules
- Reserve Fees of R 350.00 per person per stay
- A vehicle permit and conservation levy is not included in the rate and is payable at the reserve.
- Full payment is required 2 months prior to arrival.
Please note:
- The Wild Rivers reserve gate is open from 06:00 to 18:00, so please plan to arrive and depart in this time frame.
- There is an out of hours gate service that can be arranged if you are going to arrive late but this must be done so prior to your arrival. This service runs from 18:00 - 19:30 but there will be no access granted after 19:30. The fee for this out of hours service is R200 per vehicle. Should you need a late gate entry between 18:00 to 19:30 this needs to be arranged in advance (before the gate closes at 18:00) and this can be done by contacting the lodge directly.
- Should this arrangement not be made before 18:00 or should you arrive after 19:30 unfortunately there will be no access into the reserve.
Please note that accommodation rate exclude the Reserve fees which will be charged after making the booking @ R250.00 per person per night. Reserve fees are almost like a tourism tax charged by the reserves where we co exist. They are not only charged here but nearly every conservation area and nature reserve around us. They are a third party cost that we collect from every guest on behalf of the reserves. Reserve fees are used to fund conservation related activities, such as anti poaching units, protecting the flora and fauna in our ecosystem & are integral to the concept of Eco tourism where we aim to better the pristine Eco system that we are privileged to be part of. We thank you for understanding and assisting us in ensuring we protect this special habitat for future generations.
