While stroling through our town centre (Only 200m from our gate) you will find a few historical tourist interests such as the Ceramic Tile Panels at our Post Office. These panels depicting animals of the Kruger Park were created by J Popefinkel in 1936. The Forestry Museum is the only museum of its kind on the continent, recording the history of the SA timber industry in many interesting ways.St Peters Anglican Church, the first church in Sabie, dedicated in 1913. Commissioned by H.T Glynn and designed by Sir Herbert Baker, the church was build by a team of Italian stonemasons using locally quarried stone with a roof of Swedish wood shingles.
Just out of town you will find The LoneCreek Waterfalls, Bridal Veil Falls, Horseshoe Falls and Sabie Falls. Travelling toward Graskop, you can visit Mac Mac Falls and Forest Falls. Passing through Graskop and see places like God's Window, Burke's Luck Potholes, Wonderview, Lowveld View, The Three Rondavels and Blyderiver dam. All on the Blyderiver Canyon route - the 3rd largest Canyon in the world and for sure the greenest. Also be sure to visit Graskop Gorge Lift for an unforgettable experience.
