Home away from home.

It was an absolute oasis! Such a spacious villa, very good furniture in the villa. Clean and neat. Lovely view with the trees and lagoon on the other side (would be nice with some trees cut back) but would definitely recommend this villa!

Nice illa.

This villa is large and clean and well situated in San Lameer, close to the beach. On a very positive note, the fridge freezer space exceeds expectations and in that climate was very welcome. On a negative note, with a large group of people for an extended stay, I booked on the basis that there was a tumble dryer but it was out of order and no communication was sent in that regard. The main aircon unit was leaking very badly making the floors rather treacherous. Besides the small negatives, the unit is amazing, the helper is awesome, friendly, trustworthy and proactive in giving clean linen and towels, etc.

San Lameer is fantastic, but we were not happy with the service from the owner nor with the location.

There were problems with the DStv when we got there, the owner was aware of it but it was only addressed on Friday (the day we got there). However, the problem was not resolved until Saturday. The owner did go out of his way to make sure we were ok. A big problem was the power, the DB overheated and the power was off for a few hours on Saturday. We had to call reception at San Lameer to arrange to have someone come out to fix it. We could not get hold of the owner. However, it was very shocking, as the wires in the DB burned so badly that it was indeed a danger to me and my family. The house itself is very nice, but needs a lot of attention. The maid didn't show up on Sunday either, but that was between her and the owner. I would only recommend the house if everything there was fixed and looked after. The location is beautiful and the estate itself is fantastic.
