SANParks Motswedi Camp Site is situated in the Mokala National Park. Mokala is SANPark’s newest park, located approximately 70 km south-southwest of Kimberley, and west of the N12 freeway to Cape Town. Nestled in the hills, Mokala's landscape boasts a variety of koppieveld hills and large open plains.
The Motswedi Camping site is a one of a kind camping experience in this beautiful park. There are 6 camping sites, arranged in a half moon semi-circle around a watering hole. The sites do not have electricity. Each camping site boasts its own ablution and cooking facilities, and outside braai stands under shaded trees.
There is a knee-height solar-powered electrified fence that surrounds the camping site, to keep the buffalo out.
