Schaefers' Halt is a delightful, hillside farm situated halfway between Dullstroom and Lydenburg. The farm is nestled in the Klein Drakensberg Mountains, overlooking 4 trout dams. Schaefers' Halt is a cosy family run guest farm with beautiful views in every direction.
The accommodation offers 4 well-equipped, self-catering cottages with linen and towels provided and can be serviced on request. The cottages can accommodate between 2 and 6 guests, depending on which cottage is booked. Facilities include en-suite bathrooms, braai facilities, fully equipped kitchens, secure parking, and some of the units are pet friendly. Only the Cosy unit is wheelchair friendly.
Schaefers' Halt is located 16 km from the Verloren Valei Nature Reserve, 25 km from the Dullstroom Dam Nature Reserve and 26 km from the Lyndenburg Museum.
