I had apologised to Duduzile for her experience. On the 13th December I had a prostrate biopsy. Unfortunately when they arrived on Sunday I had developed a serious infection and was in extreme pain and discomfort. However we did drive them to the beach and allowed them to spend some time there. During Sunday evening the infection got worse and we left for Scottburugh to the hospital early on Monday morning and I was there until late in the afternoon having tests done. Upon my return home I went straight to bed after taking my medication.
The comment of us being poor and unhelpful hosts is not correct. I do agree that Elysium is far out of the way and that there are no facilities like Uber/Bolt for transport. However we had asked on our chat group if there was anyone that does transport of people to Hiberdene or Scottburugh and were given a number and duly gave it to Duduzile, unfortunately they were unable to contact the person.
This is also the first time we've had guests that arrived without their own transport and have now made neccessary contacts with people who do supply rides.
All I can once again do is apologise for their experience and for being ill during their visit.
