Great seaside stay!

I was very happy with my stay here. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly. The room was so neat, clean and I love the personal touches with the notes indicating how certain appliances work, the Muizenberg tourist/information file they put together, etc. All very helpful! I brought my 7-month-old fur child with, and I know he can be noisy sometimes, but the hosts were very accommodating and didn't even mention anything. The compound itself is secure; you have a small courtyard door which can lock so your fur child or regular child can be safe, and there's another door which is locked beyond that so they can't get too far. The location is a 5-minute walk to the beach, so a really good place to stay. There are many things to do in close proximity, so you really don't need to drive if you're staying for a few days. The safety of the area isn't the best. I wouldn't really recommend walking around after the sun goes down; there are a few shady characters, especially near the railway, and the lighting, especially on the beach, is not good. If you're driving, you shouldn't have a problem. There are police patrols in the festive season, so that helps. Also, it is street parking, as indicated. It's not a small road; you can park comfortably on the curbside, and many other cars are parked outside as well.

This place is just like the pictures. Styling of the room is great, and it has everything you could need. Also, it is located within close walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Three things that I most appreciated: 1. Dog friendly. They don't have a garden but you can walk your dog nearby at the vlei or down at the beach. 2. They have informative signs everywhere - in the bathroom, in the cupboard kitchenette - so you know exactly where to find things or what to do - like with their various water-saving measures. They make everything convenient and you don't have to run to them with every question because it is all there for you. 3. A bin for recycling and a bin for trash. Thank you, thank you, thank you. So simple but means a great deal to me to have somewhere to put recyclable materials. There are so many nice touches to this place. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent! A very relaxing stay.

Very comfortable and peaceful. The host was super kind and accommodating, from the custom welcome sign to the in-room extras which wasn't expected. I had to attend a meeting very early the next morning and the host ensured that all went as planned so that I'm not late. Thanks for a very nice stay.

The welcome I received was so friendly. Staff were really helpful with parking arrangements.

Our car could not fit the parking bay, so we had to leave our car outside. We were not comfortable with this arrangement, however the host made us feel so safe, nothing happened to our car.
