Seewaarts

Lovely, comfortable stay over a stormy, wet, windy weekend.

The Seewaarts cottage is comfortable and just the right size for our group. The walled-in backyard meant our dog could get much-needed exercise between showers of rain. Security is great, being inside the Langezandt estate, with access control. It is a short walk to the beach and the new OK store across the road is a lovely shop. It was strange having the separate suite on the front of the house - having to access the main building through the wind and rain, but it did offer additional privacy. The braai and entertainment area is lovely, but could do with a solid rain-proof cover over it to protect against the rain.

Seewaarts is 'n netjies toegeruste juweel tussen wit huisies in 'n veilige, skilderagtige omgewing geleë naby die strand.

Beslis die moeite werd.

Die huisie is skoon en netjies en redelik toegerus met wat nodig is. Linne ook skoon en netjies. Stil, rustige omgewing. Toegang tot Wi-Fi sou 'n aanwins wees.

We had a lovely stay at Seewaarts. The house was clean, comfortable and had most of what we needed.

The house was close to the beach and the kids had freedom to move around safely and visit with friends in the estate from early morning to late evening. The house was well equipped (with the exception of a few towels that were missing, a light at the braai and WIFI) and we were very comfortable. From a safety point of view, the enclosed courtyard meant we could braai and hang out feeling safe. The lack of burglar bars, however, means that we could not leave our windows open at night.

Rustige Paasnaweek in Struisbaai.

Ons het 'n heerlike Paasnaweek by Seewaarts gehad. Die huis was netjies en skoon. Daar is wel 'n swembad wat ons nie op die plasing opgelet het nie, en wat ons met klein kindertjies dalk twee keer sou laat dink het. Maar behalwe vir dit was alles goed en het ons dit vreeslik geniet.

Not maintained or cleaned.

No one knew we were arriving although paid in full. Accommodation was not clean or prepared. Establishment needs maintenance.

Excellent location and Struisbaai is awesome!

Enjoyable stay, near the beach.

I really enjoyed the stay at Seewaarts. It was within walking distance of a beautiful beach and the shops. Harbour and sightseeing spots were close by. Only issue was the braai area. There was very little light in that area to firstly see the braai, but also not enough light to sit outside and play board games. Would definitely recommend it though.

Daar was net een probleem om middernag was die al die TV channels toe die kinders wou nog die oggend TV gekyk het, ons het toestemming gekry om die perseel 15:00 te verlaat.

Awesome stay.

The stairs to the loft is a little challenging, especially with small kids.

Plek was nie baie netjies nie.

Deure nie baie maklik om oop te sluit nie. Badkamers baie vuil sowel as die vullisdromme in genoemde badkamers. Noem dat daar skottelgoedopwasser is, maar geen tablette nie. Badkamers nie eers toegerus met seep, ens. nie. Sitkamer-stel baie vuil - wou nie eers daarop sit nie. Eetgerei, borde, ens. ook vuil en moes alles was voor gebruik.
