Shiduli Private Game Lodge is located on Karongwe Game Reserve, a magnificent wildlife sanctuary in Limpopo. This luxurious lodge provides a tranquil retreat with unsurpassed hospitality and elegance; offering visitors an excellent opportunity to catch a glimpse of the Big 5.
Accommodation is available in a selection of 25 luxury bedrooms or the private honeymoon suite. Some of the luxury rooms have interleading doors, which is ideal for families or groups. Each room can accommodate 2 guests on either double or twin beds, and feature an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioners, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The honeymoon suite contains a queen-size bed and a private plunge pool.
The 3 main lounges are stylishly decorated in leathers, silks as well as stone and provide the perfect environment in which to relax, while the lovely soft leather chairs reflect the warm colonial-style throughout the lodge. The gentleman’s lounge, with its masculine décor, boasts a TV at the bar, dual-facing fireplace, richly woven Persian carpets and soft leather couches where guests can enjoy a drink or unwind after an exhilarating game drive.
The patio outside boasts a view of the watering hole and contains a seating area where guests can enjoy a game of chess or retreat with a book from the comprehensive library located in the drawing-room. Guests can step into the relaxed ambience of the lodge with its lush indigenous garden, a bar area, sparkling pool, and thatch-roof dining areas decorated with original South African art.
Delicious breakfasts and lunches featuring fresh Pan African flavours are served in the main building or on the deck, while dinner is a sumptuous candlelit affair offered in various delightful settings in the lodge.
Boma dinners under the African sky are often ended by traditional dancing, a captivating tribute from the staff at Shiduli who are dedicated to ensuring a unique experience for the guests.
