After glorious nights rest guests will be soaked by numerous birdsongs which bring the realisation of the tranquillity of the country as Skemerkelk Guesthouse. Here guests will find the heart of the Northern Cape. The environment is rich in olives, pecan nuts, citrus and other agricultural products.

There are 9 en-suite bedrooms each with its own private entrance. Out of the 9 rooms, 3 are family rooms with queen-size beds and a three-quarter bed. Each room is uniquely equipped with its own theme and has luxurious beds with high-quality linen. In 2 of the rooms, the bathroom is fitted with a shower and a bath and 1 honeymoon suite with a big triangular bath to relax in. Other in-rooms facilities include DStv, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, as well as tea and coffee facilities with home baked biscuits. Daily room service and fresh towels are included.

The property can only be entered by a security gate and offers parking with 24-hour security cameras. There is a sparkling pool for a cool dip after a hot day.

A connoisseur breakfast, take-aways, other meals and washing facilities are available on request. A fridge, freezer and microwave are also available to guests if required. There is a fireplace in the dining area for the cold days and inside and outside braai facilities. Firewood is provided and the guesthouse is also wheelchair friendly.
