Description

Snoekies offers self-catering accommodation just 500 m from the beach in Hondeklip Bay, and is ideal for guests looking for a quiet getaway.

Guests have a choice of 3 units with private entrances, and each unit can accommodate up to 5 people. Each unit comprises 2 bedrooms that are furnished with double beds or 2 single beds, and an extra single bed is available in the living area. Snoekies 1 contains a bathroom with a bath and a shower, and Snoekies 2 and 3 each have showers only. Guests, please need to bring their own towels for their stay.

The kitchens are equipped with microwaves, stoves, fridges, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar or dining table.

Each unit also has a private braai area for guests to use. Please bring your own grill and barbecue facilities along.

During peak season, water can become scarce, so we ask guests to work sparingly. Please bring enough fresh water, because the town's water is brackish water. The power can also sometimes go off unexpectedly.

Hondeklip Bay offers a long beach for walking and various rocks pools and tidal pools to explore. Other activities include fishing and cray fishing with permits, walking and cycling, as well as 4x4 trails found in the area. Guests also view the Dog Stone, the Aristea Shipwreck, Spitfire Rock, and the Hondeklipbaai lighthouse.
