Somerset Stables is located in a quiet neighbourhood in Graaff-Reinet, and offers guests lovely rooms for a relaxing stay.

Decorated in a Provence-style, guests have a choice of individually decorated rooms that can each accommodate up to 2 people each. The rooms are furnished with king-size beds, double beds or 2 single beds, and quality linen and towels are provided.

The rooms are air-conditioned for comfort, and is equipped with TVs with selected DStv channels, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Please note, smoking is not allowed in the rooms.

Breakfast is available on request at an additional cost and is served in the main building which is decorated with antiques, art and objects from the family’s history. Secure parking is provided behind an electronic gate for vehicles, trailers and boats.

Somerset Stables is situated just 1 km from various restaurants and schools. Graaff-Reinet is rich in history, all of which can be viewed at the various National Monument and museums that can be found in town. The area offers walking trails in the Camdeboo National Park as well as 4x4 trails, fishing, canoeing, and boating at Nqweba Dam, and visitors can also take a drive and view the Valley of Desolation.
