St Ives Lodge and Venue is situated in Lions River which is in the beautiful KwaZulu-Natal Midlands on the R103, 10 kilometres from Howick, 7 kilometres from Midmar Dam, 20 minutes from Pietermaritzburg, and 1 hour from Durban. This beautiful estate is home to an array of wildlife, bass and an abundance of bird life.

Join us for a unique experience where wildlife wonders the grounds around your individually decorated rooms. Each suite comes complete with an en-suite bathroom with amenities, gowns, and a kitchenette that is equipped with a small fridge, a toaster, a kettle, a microwave, and basic cutlery, crockery and glassware. Room facilities include a fireplace with firewood bundle, an air-conditioner, a flat-screen TV with DStv hotel channels, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Bath towels and bed linen are provided.

The Boma Bar and restaurant is open Wednesday too Saturday from 12h00 until 20h00 and on Sundays from 11h00 until17h00. The Boma offers its Famous Midlands wood-oven pizzas, Flame grilled burgers, Delicious Ribs & Chicken cooked to perfection in the wood pizza oven . The Boma is a kid-friendly environment, and features flat-screen TV's showing all major sporting events. This area is also available for corporate functions.

The newly renovated conference centre has lots of natural light cascading through glass stack-doors, leading onto a raised deck with picturesque views over the breath-taking lake. This makes the perfect setting for hosting your company's corporate conference and team building projects.
