Sylvia cottage is a restored original laborers cottage that has 2 bedrooms, and can sleep a maximum of 5 people. It is fully equipped for self-catering, with a private porch, beautiful views and braai area. It has free WiFi, and a TV with full DStv. A private wood-fired hot tub is the perfect place for kids to play and adults to relax and enjoy star gazing in the evenings. An indoor fireplace ensures the cottage is cosy, even in the cooler months. It’s a short walk to the popular on-site restaurant, The Tasting Room, for those who don’t feel like cooking, or have a breakfast or braai basket delivered for convenience.

Description
This historic labourers' cottage has been restored to offer comfort and self-contained convenience. The cottage comprises 2 bedrooms, an open-plan kitchenette and living area, and a bathroom with a shower. The French doors leading out from the lounge open up onto a large private patio with braai facilities and views over the Stanford valley. An indoor fireplace ensures that the cottage stays cosy in cooler weather. This cottage can accommodate 4 guests. The first bedroom contains a double bed and the second bedroom contains twin beds. The kitchenette is equipped with a 2-plate mini oven, microwave, under-the-counter fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery, and cooking utensils. Brunia Cottage is adjacent to Sylvia Cottage and is approximately a 5 minute walk from the admin office and the restaurant.

The Homestead (Manor House) is housed in the original old farmhouse and is steeped in history. The unit can accommodate 10 guests and comprises a living area, a separate dining area, a kitchen, and a patio with braai facilities and a private swimming pool. The living area is equipped with a TV with DStv and the kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher. The bedrooms are split into 3 wings. The East Wing, Patio Wing and the West Wing. The East Wing comprises 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed, and 1 bedroom with twin beds and a sleeper couch. These 2 bedrooms share a full bathroom with a bath and shower. The Patio Wing comprises 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and the West Wing comprises 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed and an en-suite full bathroom with a bath and shower, and 1 bedroom with a single bed and a bunk bed. The West Wing is ideal for a family as guests in the second bedroom walk through the main bedroom to access the bathroom.
