It was a pleasant, quiet location close to the river.

The owners were contactable, took us a while to find the house as there was no name on the gates which were a bit overgrown with trees and shrubs. The amenities were as described and there were ample kitchen utensils. We needed to get away to recharge in the quiet countryside and we did just that!

It is a pity to have vehicle drive over lawn area as it damages our underground irrigation system and tyres pull up the lawn in these wet conditions. The parking area is clearly marked and house address and directions are in guest guide which is sent to all guests well before they arrive.

Ons was 'n klein groepie vriende met 'n baba en 'n peuter en het die naweek vreeslik geniet! Ek het vooraf gesien dat daar nie 'n bad is nie, en het n badjie vir my baba saamgeneem. Heerlike rustige naweek weg van die stad en in die natuur met baie lekker geriewe.

Ideal setting a stones throw from the river.

Enjoyed the welcoming home of The River House. The big fire place was a highlight. Lovely sunny veranda with braai facility overlooking a well kept garden. Close to main street town to walk.

We had a very nice welcome to a marvelous house with a very nice view.

Stephanie gave us a very nice welcome to the house. We had a wonderful time there enjoying the nice view on the River and the mountains.
