StarFish Accommodation offers guests comfortably furnished and safe accommodation in Struisbaai, and is just 450 m from the beach.
Guests have a choice of booking the 7-sleeper StarFish House or the 2-sleeper StarFish Room. The double-storey StarFish House is equipped for self-catering and comprises 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower and a toilet. The second bedroom is furnished with 2 double beds. The third bedroom is furnished with a three-quarter bed, and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a toilet.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, an electric oven, a fridge, microwave, toaster, cutlery and crockery, and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table in front of the indoor braai area. The lounge is equipped with a TV with Netflix, and opens onto a patio that overlooks the garden and outdoor braai area. The garden is enclosed with walls and sliding gates, making it suitable for children, pets, and cars.
The free-standing open-plan StarFish Room is situated on the groundfloor and has a private entrance. It is furnished with a double bed, and has an en-suite bathroom. Tea- and coffee-making facilities and 'n microwave are provided. Guests can sit outside and braai facilities are also available.
For convenience, linen and bath towels are provided for both units, and guests please need to bring their own swimming towels. Guests will also be provided a few pieces of firewood, a braai grid, and a potjiekos potjie. Extra firewood, as well as a cleaning service, can be arranged on request at an additional cost.
StarFish Accommodation is in close proximity to shops, restaurants, Struisbaai Harbour, the swimming beach and guests can go fishing, kayaking, surfing and kitesurfing, and whale watching between July to August. Guests can also take the short 4 km drive to L'Agulhas to see the Quoin Point Lighthouse, the Cape Agulhas Lighthouse Museum, or explore the various hiking trails in the area.
