Totally not what I expected, my worse nightmare.

I booked a nice room with a bathroom and shower, only to get an old farmhouse, old furniture, no shower. This was supposed to be a nice get away with my spouse. That farm was a mess, a dog's kennel at the entrance, dog following us around.

We are extremely disappointed to hear that you were not satisfied with our accommodation, because we do endeavour to go the extra mile to ensure that our guests are comfortable and can enjoy a memorable stay with us.
The various Sterkspruit guest farm platforms do have the relevant information regarding the different options for visitors to choose from, before making any reservations.
We are in the process of increasing capacity by constructing new cottages, and do make sure that our building sites are closed off by installing shade netting.
As a norm, we do welcome our guests via our reception, but due to your very late arrival, reception was closed at that time, and the kitchen entrance was used to avoid any inconvenience.

Not what was advertised.

I was not pleased with what we saw with the accommodation. The self catering accommodation is definitely not that. And Kiepersol is a unit supposed to be shared by 2 families. Silver Oak is completely solar run, which is not strong enough to run even 1 light through the night and you are expected to charge your phone outside in the rain - as it rained most of our stay. And it is also self-catering but does not have a fridge, so you must bring your own food and drink but have no where to keep it cold or fresh. This is all false advertising on website. However the manager is very friendly and tries to be accommodating with the accommodation he has to deal with.

We booked our stay for four adults, only to be placed in a single small room that only accommodates 2 adults.

When we enquired about this we were told that the other two adults should sleep on the small sleeper couch. This was not as advertised. We were very unhappy about the sleeping arrangements, the price paid was for accommodation for four adults instead we were forced to share a single small sized room and no bedding was provided for those sleeping on the couch.

Baie rustig en stil in 'n pragtige omgewing.

Henk baie vriendelik. Ons het lekker geëet aan sy disse. Die grondpad daarheen was nag, afgesien daarvan was ons verblyf lekker. Teleurstellend, die toegang na die ou murasie was ontoeganklik. Hulle moet aandag daaraan gee, asook die werkershuis wat 'n swak indruk skep met die omheining daarom.

A secluded valley view absolute leisure cottage.

Its a nicely located cottage for spending leisure time viewing the entire Schoemanskloof mountains and valley. Lots of birds to watch. The kitchen was well equipped with all utensils, Gas and electric stoves. The lights inside were little less, which can be improved. Overall, a fantastic gateawy to ennoy together with firends and family and a value worth visiting. The roads to the cottage was not bad at all and we drove easily to the location.

Relaxing retreat.
