Description
Stone Cottage offers rustic self-catering accommodation and is located on a tranquil working farm in the beautiful Balela Mountains, approximately 50 km from central Newcastle. The farm borders the famous Majuba Mountain and is ideal as a base from which to visit the area’s historical sites.
This rustic, pet-friendly farm cottage can accommodate three adults, two children, and consists of two bedrooms and one bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, and the second bedroom is equipped with one single bed and a bunk bed. The bathroom, which is ensuite to the main bedroom, is fitted with a shower, handbasin and a toilet. The farm-style kitchen contains basic appliances such as a fridge, gas oven and stove.
The lounge leads out onto a patio, which has wicker furniture to sit on and braai facilities to use. Well-behaved pets are welcome by arrangement, as the cottage has a private garden for pets to run around in.
The farm is also situated approximately 15 km from Volksrust, Mpumalanga, with its shops, takeaway restaurants, and petrol stations.
