House Rules
Earlier or later check-ins can be arranged in advance. Guests are welcome to drop off luggage prior to check-in if needed.
The cost for replacement of lost room keys or damaged locks is applicable lock replacement is to be paid immediately.
Smoking is completely forbidden inside the house and on balconies.
Smoking is permitted outside the house, please use the ashtrays placed in the garden and on the deck.
For environmental reasons, water conservation, we would ask guests to hang up their towels after use. The rooms will only be cleaned on request or after 5 days of stay. If guests do need fresh bedding, towels, or cleaning please let us know and we will service the rooms between 10:00 and 14:00.
Please do not use flammables for heating, cooking, irons candles, etc, in the guest room or corridors.
Cooking food in the rooms is not allowed.
Guests are not entitled to bring an unauthorized guest(s) to stay and facilities are for paying guests only. Kindly note visitors are not allowed between the hours of 22:00 and 9:00 out of courtesy to other guests.
The management is not responsible for lost items. Please lock the doors when you leave.
Although the guest house management takes responsible steps to ensure the safety and security of all guests and their possessions, guests retain final responsibility for their own safety and security.
Parking is available for all house guests. Please do not park in front of the garages. There is additional off-the-street parking around the back of the house.
Do not leave any valuables inside your car while it is parked. Stonehouse on Main Guesthouse cannot accept responsibility for the loss of, damage to, or theft from the vehicle of any such articles while your car is parked.
No cigarette butts, cotton buds, tampons, sanitary pads, or any other material, other than toilet paper may be flushed down the toilet. Charges will occur for any blockages.
Guests have no access to rooms and areas marked “private”.
The dining room, deck, and upstairs sitting room are common areas of the house, and guests are encouraged to use them to their needs, nevertheless, there are some rules to abide by.
Guests are welcome to use the upstairs common area and its microwave.
If by any chance you notice any dirt, please inform us.
Kindly avoid making noise or disturbing the other house guests, for example, musical instruments, radios, televisions, stereos, and/or any other source of amplified sound shall be played at a volume that shall not disturb or annoy other guests. We shall pay particular attention to limiting noise between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., we also request the guests to restrain from making noise outside the building, car park, or on the balcony.
Kindly note that if circumstances so require, we reserve the right of admission.
