Storyhouse, situated in Kommetjie, is within walking distance of Long Beach. The beautiful Kommetjie is about a 40-minute drive from Cape Town International Airport and conveniently located for those who want to explore the Cape Peninsula and its surroundings, as well as wine regions such as Tokai, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Wellington, and Paarl.

There are 2 self-catering units. The Two-Bedroom Self-Catering Unit sleeps 5 guests, and the One-Bedroom Self-Catering Unit sleeps 2 adults.

The Two-Bedroom Self-Catering Unit on the ground floor faces north and has French doors leading to a private wooden deck with barbecue facilities. The unit is adjacent to the main house and is private with its own entrances.

The One-Bedroom Self-Catering Unit on the first floor of the main house faces north with a view of Chapman's Peak in the distance. The unit operates independently and is private with an outdoor staircase and a small gravel and herb garden with a braai area. The unit sleeps 2 adults.

Storyhouse has a solar power system in place for load shedding. Wi-Fi is available in the rooms. There is also a communal pool on the property.

Kommetjie has a deli where guests can buy fresh bread every day, a couple of restaurants, a shipping container shop with fresh vegetables and fruit, and a petrol station with a shop. Two malls are also approximately 7 km away.

The long sandy beach is ideal for swimming, walking, jogging, surfing, kite surfing, etc. Birdwatching and swimming are available on-site. Activities such as horse riding, wine tasting, cycling, mountain biking, swimming and tennis are available in the area.
