Baie baie lekker. Die uitsig is ongelooflik. Alles in die huis wat nodig is, is daar.

Lekker wegbreek!

Die huis bied 'n outydse gevoel wat jy nie sommer by ander plekke kry nie. Die mense is vriendelik en sorg dat jy alles nodig het vir 'n gemaklike wegbreek.

Ongelooflike mooi omgewing met 'n mooi uitsig op die berge.

'n Pragtige plek met 'n pragtige uitsig op die berge. Die huis is baie skoon en netjies. Daar was ongelukkig net sakkies met suiker en geen koffie nie. Die padgeraas pla nogal deur die nag indien jy 'n ligte slaper is. Ons sal beslis weer die plek besoek.

Eenvoudig, gerieflik.

Plaashuis wat omring is deur die dorpie. Alles was skoon en netjies. Die foto's op die webtuiste kort net 'n opgradering.

A few issues when we arrived like DStv and Wi-Fi not working.

This was on the day that the Springboks played Ireland in the RWC. The DStv was eventually sorted out, however, I spent the first 3 hours of my time stressing about another option and sorting the DStv out with the host Astrid, to watch the rugby, rather than relaxing with my family. The Wi-Fi did not work at all and was not resolved. This would have been an issue had I had any work to do.

Relaxing and the opportunity to recharge.

The view and the verandah catching the sun was just beautiful and it is a relaxing place to recharge. Super friendly for the doggies who loved it as much as we did. Thank you!

Beautiful setting in a gracious old house.

Only hitches were sorting out the Wi-Fi and difficulties with the TV. Caretaker Dougie was most helpful in eventually resolving these issues.

The stay was good, the house was equipped and the scenery was beautiful.

I'll definitely recommend this place.

Netjiese, ruim woning vir twee pare. Netheid van hoogstaande gehalte.

Geleë in die VGK sendingstasie, veilige omgewing. Het ook Sondag 'n erediens bygewoon - slegs twintig kilometer van Swellendam.

Oh wow. Amazing plek.

Suurbraak Schuur is 'n pragtige plek. So goed toegerus. So baie spasie. Daar kan jy net jou skoene uitskop en ontspan. Die gasvrou, Astrid, het ons sommer by die voordeur ingewag. Ons is so welkom laat voel soos ou vriende. Lieflike tuinstoep waar jy kan braai en kuier. Dit voel soos paradys en daardie uitsigte berge toe! Sal beslis aanbeveel.

It was absolutely amazing.

I will recommend Suurbrak Schuur to anyone that just needs some peace and quite. Everyone is so friendly.

Pragtige huis met alles wat jy benodig.

Woning is baie goed toegerus met alles wat jy moontlik kan benodig vir 'n lekker naweek/week weg. Die huis is baie ruim en netjies, en die stoep is perfek vir lang kuiers by die vuur! Ons het dit baie geniet!

Pragtig. So ruim en goed ingerig. Die uitsig kan geld nie koop nie.

Lekker gesellige en rustige naweek.

Ons het 'n baie rustige naweek gehad met vriende. Naby Suurbraak is daar ook baie lekker plekke om te besoek en dit maak die plek ideaal as jy sentraal wil bly.

Excellent place to refresh your soul and mind.

It was a short and very enjoyable stay. I believe one should stay at least 3 days in Suurbraak to explore the beauty of nature in the surrounding areas. Will definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

Heerlik, stil, mooi uitsig, lekker vir in die rivier swem, lekker vir draf.

Ons het die stilte gekry waarna ons gesoek het. Lekker drafroetes met min verkeer vroegoggend. Gerieflike koel- en ysgeriewe. Stoep baie lekker privaat met fantastiese uitsig, so ook vanuit kamers. Baie gerieflik en ruim.

Relaxed beautiful spot with very hospitable owners.

We had a fantastic break at Suurbraak Schuur over New Year. The house is dog friendly so we took our dogs along who had a ball. The house is very comfortable and opens up onto a large lawn, with great views and access to the river which is great for swimming. We look forward to our next visit.

Lovely place to stay with great hospitality

Lovely place to stay with great hospitality. We did not have much time to enjoy the ground as we were doing a trail run but would definitely stay there again!

Enjoyable stay.

My only complaint relates to the overall cleanliness. The slip covers on the wingback chairs in the lounge were dirty and should have been cleaned as were the loose white carpets in the bedroom. The patio could also do with a good cleaning as it was very dusty. Otherwise, lovely!

Very comfortable and spacious, well equipped. Wonderful welcome. Very peaceful and cool.

Beautiful garden and loved the ducks. Only criticism would be that the floorboards upstairs would be very noisy if there were a crowd staying.
